The Birth of Colt & Coast
Our Story
For the little boys who changed everything.
Colt & Coast was born from a life shaped by adventure, nature, and raising boys.
In my younger years, I spent over a decade breeding Arabian horses, working with them around the world, learning their quiet strength, and living for the moment each foal arrived. The last two I bred were two bay colts. I nurtured them from birth, and watched them grow from curious wide-eyed young foals, taking in the world around them, to powerful stallions, determined and resilient.
That chapter closed just as a new one began; I became a mother to two boys. Strong-willed, sensitive, and spirited. Much like the colts I once raised.
Colt & Coast is a reflection of that journey.
The name came naturally. We live in Perth, Western Australia, a life lived between the land and the sea. Weekdays spent on their grandparents' property, running through the same paddocks where my horses once ran. Weekends at the beach, bare feet in the sand, fish and chips at sunset. Open paddocks, salt water and sand. The kind of childhood spent outside, just as mine was. That's the world Colt & Coast was built around.
Soft, breathable fabrics. Relaxed silhouettes. A palette drawn from the earth and sea. Clothing made for the moments you’ll find again years later, buried in your camera roll, where you’ll smile and remember exactly what they were wearing.
Breeding horses taught me patience, an obsessive eye for quality, and what it means to truly care about the outcome. When you love something, you can't help but get it right. I am no different with Colt & Coast. Every fabric, every fit, every detail has been turned over in my mind more times than I can count.
Our pieces are designed to preserve childhood and be passed down between brothers, cousins, and friends. Timeless pieces woven with story, nostalgia, and love.
This is for the mothers who notice everything. And for the boys who don't yet know how remarkable they are.
Raised somewhere between country roads and coastlines.
